everyone
i just wanted to let everyone know that dad lost his fight with cancer this morning at 12:55 am. i will let everyone when the arrangments are set up. once again thanks for all your kind words and prayers.

At 12.55am 11/26/08 our dear friend Spinner crossed over. He was surrounded by those who loved him. I can't say how much i am hurting at this time as i am sure you are to. He was a friend to all and touched so many of us.
I have been asked to be a pallbearer of which with honor i accepted. All of Iboats will be with me in spirit as with the other sites he belonged as we lay him to rest.

Arrangements will be made with Neil(SP) funeral home in Cattlettsburg Kentucky. I would suggest that if you send flowers to put your iboats Sig. so Suzi will know who we are. If not flowers than maybe a donation to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are still pending but will let you know as soon as Suzi calls me

I will copy this thread and bring with me Friday to the visitations. He will be laid to rest Saturday.

Take a second a send one up to Spinner. I am sorry i am to emotional to go at this time. I weep for my friend and fishn buddy with the knowledge that he is no longer in pain.

My heart is saddened with the news of losing a great friend and cyber-brother. Les always found a way to bring peace and a smile to any situation on this board, and I am sure that carried through wherever he went. All of our lives have been made a bit richer because of Lester.

My prayers are for the whole Wright family as they mourn the loss of their husband/father/grandpa and for the rest of us that will miss his presence on these boards. May God grant His strength, His peace, and His joy to all even through such a difficult situation. I know that Les would find a way to make us all smile now ... RIP buddy!

It's hard to know what to say, except that you are thought of in friendship and in sympathy. Know that the Lord has welcomed Spinnerbaitnut into His home in Heaven.
SBN is one of the reasons i still come to this site he always had something funny to say or some good advice. I will Miss him!

LF, what about an iboats.com memorial fund for the family ... I am sure they could use some extra cash with the holidays and funeral expenses ... Just a thought ... could we do that?

After all, Les would have been quick to do the same for any of us!
