has the eng been running OK lately,do you have spark ,if your positive its the top 2 cyl,and you have spark,its likely a carb thats dirty,if no spark,be sure to check all wiring to the coils including the connectors.Spark loss on one bank,meaning port or starbord would usually indicate a probable powerpack problem,you can swap coils around with known working ones to see if its coil or elsewhere

...and run a compression check on all cylinders. Verify compression, spark (with a spark tester), and all that then leaves is the gas.

first just check the linkage and verify that carbs are syncronized and open parallel at wot.
