Yeap, thats the right choice, the problem is that those guys drop in the recycle bin all info of any boat or model after 5 years :( . Anyway I will drop a call to Genmar. The Hardway is to uninstall a lot of parts including the seats and carpet to meisure by myself :(.

Ayuh,...

I'd think that running it Down,+ then refilling it would give you a Close Enough Idea of what it'll hold...

It is probably a standard tank. If you can determine if it is aluminum or plastic, you should be able to get an idea by looking at the 35 Gal models by Tempo and Moeller. They list dimentions for their models.

Chris, the fuel tank is Plastic and can hold up to 35 gallons, I already took a look @ Mollers tanks but I went confused cause they also have a few models for this capacity with the Hull shape and other just like a square shape.

My experience with built-in tanks is there is usually one or more removeable plates/hatches in the floor providing access to the hose connections, sending unit, etc. The tank manufacturer's name on an ID plate/tag should also be in that area. If so, you can directly to the source. Good luck!

You might be able to slip a tape measure in the access hole(s) to get the dimensions. Some below deck tanks are "V" shaped on the bottom.

Are you wanting to replace it?

No my friends, its not leaking. But the problem is that he likes to chunk the gas over the fuel sender, there is no matter If I change the gasket, there is anyway to avoid this???

Re: Fuel Tank Size

Hey Z, Bring a portable tank with you and run the main tank dry, switch to the portable tank and then fill the main tank. On an 18 footer, expect 30-40 Gal tank, as standard.
