Fabuglas Boat........

I have bought this as my new project. Glass looks pretty good shape and soild transom. Just not to sure what year it is. i had no title when i bought it and considering i bought from salavage yard they didnt have title. So now I am once agian lost. The model number is 6016ss and serial number 2857. Can anyone help me with this one?????

The website was of little help. At least not until I find a proper hid number. The coast guard gives the most common places for the hid number to be. At this point I am unable to locate it. Upon further looking hid number where required after Nov 1972 but tells me nothing prior to this date. Anyone else familiar with this??

By the way I did do a goggle search and found some old pictures and best I can see my boat is called the fury, but not to sure of a year.

Phill, if built prior to 1972, and it very possibly was. it will not have the ID #. alot of them had serial #s, but with the companies gone, so are the records. you best bet is to look at fiberglassics.com. see if you can find a picture. back in those days, most records were hand kept, lots of paper, which has since been lost. computers were not trusted or popular back then. i remember having a savings pass book. the bank just had a card, they kept the balance on. they would stamp the card, and you pass book.

Fiberglassic.com is a great web site. Thanks For the info! I am pretty young so I dont remeber the days of the old bank books. I guess I have a lot to learn. Great boards. You guys are great!!
