I do understand the long long drive, I have done the same thing myself, one trip I remember my wife asked if I was going to take the left fork in the interstate ahead and I ask what she was talking about and she informed me it was on that big green sign I just passed and I am thinking what sign cause I did not see it. How is the vacation going, well I hope.

Going great wallet getting lighter by the minute. Did the magic kingdom today.

Been speaking to people who bought tickets outside the parks , dont do it none worked.

We bought all ours at the gate, whatever park we visited.

Left at 5:30 this morning, to fish, 7 Specks, 2 large mouth bass. just got home.

Sitting in the pondarosa having a steak and i hear these 2 guys with there family's came over from england to fish.

With our money worth less they come over so the wives can shop and they rent a boat and go billfish hunting.

Showed them the pics on my phone of my son, myself with fish, and deer laying on my garage floor.

What lake you catch them at Tash ?

I'm itching to wet a line, and every time i pass a lake my son says,can we go yet, can we go yet, and my wife keeps saying not till we hit delray beach.

George's Lake, it is a smallish lake about 50 miles, SW of Jax. the ramps are horrible. i will not take the pontoon back there. had to get towed out of the ramp when launching and loading. the locals say it is normal.

Don't know what the travel plans are, you may have passed thru already but, Ga gas, exit 87 Raceway $1.55, exit 90 Loves $1.55, come on North to the airport exit, exit 102, and Walmart has gas at $1.39, just crossover I-95 and it is on the right. can't miss it, or exit 109 Enmark $1.40, go under I-95 at the exit.

I mentioned Holtons Seafood Resturant at exit 76 already, also at exit 102 where Walmart is with Home Depot, over in front of HD is Carey Hilliards Resturant, good food, there are also some fast foods, Zaxbys, Sonic and a couple others there, also on the road that goes side of HD there is a place called Cheddars just past HD on the left, good food and beverages from coffee to alcohol, I would say for a get out of the car places Holtons at 76, Carey Hilliards or Cheddars at exit 102.

Busy working on my moms car.

And the condo needs a little work.

Didn't bring a boat just rods. And no never had a chance to fish.

Finished today working on my parents condo, maybe tomorrow.

I leave Delray at 9:30 am fly thru florida and when i hit GA dead stop traffic.

Never went over 30 mph all thru GA, tried a go around with the gps, what a nightmare that was.

Get to South Carolina 12 hours latter at 108 get off and get a room. Cause the sky opened up and it's like a monsoon here.

Oh well at least i'm in a days inn and im in one room with the boys and my wife is in the other room with my daughter, this is fun ?

I was wondering about you, there was a bad wreck at exit 76 yesterday afternoon, took three ambulances and they all went to Savannah to the hospital not the local one in Hinesville so I feel the injuries were bad. Glad to hear you made it through ok.

Ok make it home at 7:30 another 12 hours on the road driving, and 36 hours total from leaving Delray.

Virginia was a nightmare also, gps got me around the problem. Another major accident.

Got to say i hope those people are alright, heard from people that there was a baby stuck in the car.

Was real bad.

I said a prayer, when i got home thanking the big guy for letting us to get home safe.

I can't even see straight i'm done.

It was like a trial by fire. Never had a trip like this one returning from Fl.

Used to go every year, and once in a while twice a year.

But i had some major health scares last 5 years so i couldn't make the trip.

Up at six fixed my wifes car had a flat and i plugged it, daughters car pulled a little she said tire pressure off lousy low profile tires hate them.

Than hang a flat screen tv for the same daughter. That ain't easy.

Day half over and i'm exhausted.

It was cold here this morning. 22 you guys in the warm climate have it made in the shade.

last time i was in SC, I 95 was in rough shape.

LOL Thats just how all the roads are here. You'll go broke here trying to keep tires balanced and frontend aligned. It's pretty bad considering how many taxes we pay.

Bout time I load up and head to Florida. Grew up in the panhandle and haven't been back in sometime.

Chief, Glad to hear you made it home ok, you should be resting today instead of doing all of that work. I spent half of yesterday and most all of today taking down and packing up my Christmas decorations and worked up sweat. Sure am glad I don't have that cold weather.
