I have a 75 hp merc. Late 1985 which is new to me. when you go to start the motor, do you press the choke/key inward only once, then start the engine or do you hold the choke in until the motor starts? Operators manual is not available with this engine. this engine is connected to a quicksilver control box.
thanks,billby72

Re: quicksilver controls

It's a primer not a choke but you need to hold it in till the engine starts and I believe that mercurys parts express has all mercury owners manuals available.
