Thanks for the welcome. I guess I have actually been around a while, I have just had all my questions answered with the search option. Plug and play set up just seems to good to be true. My searches have turned up all kinds of contradicting information.

really without part numbers it is real impossible to tell. ask where he got his info, and links, as to his claim it will fit. if he does not give you reliable info, pass. it is an excellent deal, if it fits. you next option is a CMC unit $400 plus. which is about what the motor is worth in this market.

That is the correct unit. You will need to change out the tilt assist units (called shock absorbers in the diagrams) that are on your existing setup and also change or remove parts of the manual tilt lock system. The part differences are marked on the exhaust housing parts diagrams parts listing for the 1975 135HP.

ezeke could you add a link to that diagram, I have not been able to find it yet.
Also why would the dampeners need to be moved, are the cylinders on the ebay unit not on the outside.
