Don`t take my word for it,but to answer your question until somebody that knows comes along,I`m pretty sure it is 16:1.When they started using needle-bearings,Then it would be 50:1.

1959 is 24 to 1. pre 1955 is 16/1 , 1955 - 1963 is 24/1, 1963 to date is 50/1. there are some out there with a sticker that says 100/1, but OMC rescinded that back to 50/1.

The infamous "Fat 50" is one motor that I wouldn't hesitate to say it's OK to use 50:1 using TC-W3. (original was 24:1 using SAE 30). I mean, what with dumping 6-8 gallons per hour through that thing, how could it possibly not get enough oil? It does have all needle and roller bearings. If it tears up and destructs on 50:1, it was going to do it anyway--not the fault of the oil.

I recommend you send a PM to Joe Reeves. He is an expert on the "Fatty".

No, That fatty will run on any fuel. Only leaded fuel was avail when it was made. Since you can only get unleaded today, it is academic.

Do you mean premium fuel? It is unnecessary, as the fatty is low compression.
