Greetings...
Can you actually get cylinder liners for evinrudes and johnsons ? I have seen people mention them before but I am unable to find any from the normal parts suppliers online they dont seem to be listed , the engine is a 1996 115 looper 60deg which one of the piston destroyed itself and knocked a chunk out of the liner :-(

Any help would be great

Replacing sleeves is a machine shop item and can rarely be done at home. The sleeve must be cut out and depending on the sleeve you purchase the block I.d may have to be increased.Sleeves are held in by inteference fit. Then the block needs to be heated to 500 degrees for couple of hours and sleeve frozen(liquid nitrogen) and slid in aligning ports as you go.You have about 20 seconds of working time, If you miss it,you start over, then the top of sleeve must be milled flush with the deck.
