Mr. Obvious> These guys, what were they doing caller?
Caller> I'm not sure, they were kinda far from me but they had something in their hand that looked like a rod or pole or something.
Caller> I think they were going fishing Mr. Obvious.
Mr. Obvious> I see.
Mr. Obvious> Caller, where did you said you're calling from?
Caller> I live in Indiana.
Mr. Obvious> Ohh, I see.
Mr. Obvious> Is it cold there caller?
Caller> Yeah...it has been really cold, I've been freezing my butt off.
Mr. Obvious> How long have you been freezing your butt off caller?
Caller> Ummm....at least a month or so, it seem like forever though.
Mr. Obvious> Caller, I think I've solved your mystery.
Caller> Oh yeah, what is it Mr. Obvious?
Mr. Obvious> Well caller, you live in a cold climate and in the winter time the temperature goes below freezing. When it get this cold for a long period of time, the water in your lake turns into ice. That's why there weren't any wave when the wind was howling.
Caller> Huh? kinda like the water in my freezer?
Mr. Obvious> Yeah, like the water in your freezer caller.
Mr. Obvious> Those super humans that you refered to were ice fisherman.
Caller> Ice fisherman, that's funny. I've never heard such a thing. Do they fish for ice or something?
Mr. Obvious> No caller. They're called ice fisherman because they fish through the ice for fish. You know, the kind that swim.
Caller> Huh? so how do they fish through the ice?
Mr. Obvious> Well, they walk out onto the frozen lake and drill a hole in the ice until they reach water, and drop their line in it.
Caller> Huh? frozen lake and ice fisherman. I'd never made the connection.
Caller> Thanks Mr. Obvious, you're a lifesaver.
Mr. Obvious> You're welcome caller, glad I can help.
Mr. Obvious> Well, that's it for today show. I'm Mr. Obvious and I'll see you later on the next episode of Mr. Obvious.
