Re: Mariner 75 year
Ive been using a Clymer Mariner 1990 to 1993 manual so the problem may be there as my engine is a 1989. Ive service water pump, fuel pump, and carbs and have followed manual for timing pointer adjustment, carb sync, timing etc. Engine starts ok but needs very little choke even when very cold, runs ok for a while then chokes up bad, but can be cleared with revs. Have adjusted carbs to very lean (about 1/4 turn on idle mixture screws), but plugs still wet and black. I was thinking of trying the Seloc online manual, any ideas.
