15HP 1980 Johnson High alt jets?

Most of the Lakes around here in the Eastern Sierra's are 6500' to 8500 ft in altitude. I think my 15hp J15ecsd would run cleaner if the main carb jets were down sized slightly. Do the jets have to be filled and redrilled or are there new high altitude jets available? I have a 4 blade prop 91/4 x9 on a 12ft aluminum Gregor.

check with a local dealer, they have the best handle on that situation. remember smaller jets less lubrication.

You should probably hook it up to oxygen at that altitude. Rick.
