I just received my Epirb ( used ) from E-Bay. They say they need the old password for the unit but I don't have it how can I transfer ownership so I can have my info on it.

You may have to contact the previous owner, or the manufacturer, or try to hack it with simple responses ie. password or 1234

On many electronic units there may be a hole just large enough for a paperclip to activate a total reset on the unit.

Just be carefull you do not activate it and forget or you might have a visitor or two at home!

Have you tried the NOAH Satellite website?

There's a New registration link listed on the page to register a previously owned Beacon.
