just bought a this engine and have had a few problems I've had it looked at twice now the first time the mechanic took the oil tank out so we now mix the has and oil it work for about ten hours then at full throttle it just cut out so he came back and cleaned the carborators it worked for a bit then it did the same thing at full throttle I noticed that the bulb was sucked in so I changed that and now it starts hard and cuts out at full throttle unless I squeeze the bulb right when I here it going out also it dies out at low speeds any ideas

Wow, Did you proof read your post. was a bit hard to decifer. Im not an expert, but I have a question for you. Do you have a built in tank or is it a portable? The bulb being sucked in kinda tells me the tank vent could be closed or glogged. I have a portable tank and have noticed the tank being sucked in when i forget to open the vent.

Did you ever suck real hard on an empty soda bottle and notice that the sides cave in? The same thing happens when there is a restriction in the fuel line ahead of the primer bulb or if the tank vent is closed or clogged as was pointed out. One of the more common problems is the end of the pickup tube in the tank is clogged with debris or the antisiphon valve is stuck shut.

I had my 2 carbs rebuilt on my 40 hp Mercury,1995,It sounds like your fuel pump needs rebuilt too.If your carbs were clogged with stuff,so was your fuel pump,in the moter.Just tell your mechanic to do that also,1/2 hour labor. It will fix it
