Basic Marine Repairs/Maintenance - Self Help?

Greetings iBoaters!!! I'm not new to boating but I'm quite new to repairing and maintaining boats the proper way. Could someone recommend a good on-line course or self-help book for basic boat maintenance and/or on-water repairs, preferrably for I/O's? Outside of major repairs and winterizing, I'd like to do everything myself.
Thanks in advance!!!

the factory shop manual is going to be your best bet.
it will take you step by step for any repairs you want to make and sometimes give you the parts# and speical tools involved.

Thanks for all the advice! Ironically, the wife and I are taking boater safety at our local Power Squadron later this week so I'll be sure to ask about maintenance training as well.
