I have a Force 40hp and I have a lot off water spitting inside the engine compartment even when I have the bunny ears on it in the drive way. It looks like its coming out on one side. There is also water leaking out between the upper and mid section of the shaft. There is still water spitting out the back up top where its suppose to. I also replaced the impeller recently so I have good water circulation.

Do I have bad gaskets between the different sections or could it be a leak in the line somewhere? Please help cause I am to rip this thing apart

I just bought a 35 hp Force and it was doing the same thing. The head gasket bolts were very loose so I tightened them up and it quit leaking. It's an easy fix and I plan on replacing the gasket before I take it to the lake.
I found other loose bolts so I would tighten every bolt you can find.

Where exactly is it coming from? Get out your manual and identify the location as it makes it easier to give you advice.
