I've been shopping for these things. Want them both for loading and for backup guides when the trailer is empty. I'm using TD's plan.

2 inch muffler clamp, cut all thread. and top plate.

Looks good T. I would have never thought of doing it that way, but then again, that's why I spend so much time on this site (cause I usually screw it up).
