I have an old 15 HP evinrude sportwin . The serial number is 10024B-09372 . If someone could help me identify the year of it so I can order parts for it, I would be grateful as I cant seem to find it in the areas to look that are on others questions.

It's not a bad year appearance wise for the Evinrude's. It's 24:1 oil ratio btw.

I just bought an old evinrude sportwin 9.5 modle 9422R ser.#c429072

Anyone know the year of this motor?

wolf, the 1961-63 Sportwin 10s were among the best motors of that size range ever built (in my humble opinion).

utah, your 9.5 Sportwin is a 1964. Wish I could say the same for that one.

Hah thanks for the reply. Any major issues with it or just overall not the greatest. I bought it cheap as I was looking for a prop for my 72 johnson 9.5 and found this motor. Paid about what I would have for the prop and tank elsewhere.
