I need trolling motor mount ideas!

Hello everyone. I have a 2001 Sailfish 188 center council. I was wondering if there is any ideas on how to mount a electric trolling motor to the bow of the boat. I have a safety rail that goes around the bow with about 8" of space between the rail and the boat. I guess I could mount it in the back but would love to have it on the bow. I will try to include a pic of the boat to help. Thanks

wireless remote control it will need a custom built mount, that bolts to the gunnel and extends outside the rail, so the motor is totally outside. either that of cut the rail.

Thanks for reply. Where do I find a custom built mount? Does anyone have a pic of what I am looking for?

I have a very similar setup on my 17' CC and am looking to add trolling motor. Did you ever come up with solution?
