i have a 6hp johnson recently purchased and runs great! My question is about the slow speed rich, lean adjustment. What does it do and where should i put it above slow speed ie. full throttle

Re: 6hp johnson

Hello. It only needs to be adjusted for slow/idle speed. Once you throttle up it is no longer part of the gas train until you idle down again. If your motor is working good you don't need to adjust it at all. Have a look at this link from the FAQ forum. It is better explained than I could do. Enjoy your engine. Rick.
