86 Force 85hp lift points

Bought rig with 85 hp Force. Want to switch it to different boat. Cannot find the lift points on the motor. Anyone help?

There are no specific lift points. That engine is relatively light at less than 300 pounds. Two men and a boy can handle it.

However, There are three 1/4 X 20 holes in the flywheel near the center and if you have a lift, you can fabricate a plate with three matching holes for bolts and an eyebolt in the center. That's what I use.

I finally figured that's about what I'd have to do. I also found that Mercury made a specific lifting eye for this and other motors. But, it cost over $50
I do believe I'll take your suggestion.
