Ok i got a chance to go do a compression test!! I cleaned the area very well with a air line.. The redings were 1. 90 2. 90 3. 100 4. 102 5. 101, and six i could never get too!! Soo i sprayed them with deep creep, i also sprayed the inside of teh carbs with deep creep!!! How long should i let deep creep sit in them? I was hopeing to get the numbers up higher on the readings!!

If no one types out the step by step instructions for you here in this thread, I suggest that you do a search for Deep Creep, Sea Foam, and decarb to find plenty of guidance on how to decarb a motor. The product containers also contain some instructions. Actually, there are a variety of methods suggested on this forum so you will need to choose the method that suites you best.

Re: Did the compression test!!

I don't recall ever reading about someone causing damage to their gaskets from the use of Sea Foam or Deep Creep. Most decarb instructions call for spaying the stuff into the carb throat with the motor running or spraying it inside the cylinders through the spark plug hole with the motor warmed up and then soaking overnight (as an option).

I don't see any benefit from spraying Deep Creep into the carb throat with the motor off and then letting it soak overnight. Probably won't cause any damage but won't decarb anthing either. If you meant that you sprayed the Deep Creep into the carbs while the motor was running until it died, and then let it sit/soak until the next day, that is a commonly suggested way and fine to do without worries.

I prefer the method of using a portable tank to run a strong mixture of Sea Foam/fuel through the fuel line to decarb my motor.

Just my thoughts...
