yamaha 2004 150 carbs

i have 150 2004 txrc, pulled the carbs of(thanks corn fuel) pilot screws are tamper proof,drilled out the little plug(no problem) one screw was 1.25 turns,the other was 1 turn ,is that normal? i cannot find my manual , so any help would be great thanks

I have the same motor, but dont have a answer.. tagging along for one..

What happened for you to pull the carbs.. >? This engine is a beast and just wants to run....The more I run it the better it gets..

captain dave,my motor had a low idle miss,it was sneezing at idle when i put it up in feb. tracked down problem to top carbs,removed and cleaned,ran it hard last night ,runs like a jem,these motors weakness is the carbs,i do run a racor 10micron,but ethanol has been a little problem,my first motor a 1989 175 yam,needed the carbs done once ayear ,after that no problems
