Re: Boat still winterized...

Actually I was being a teacher showing my son in law and grandson how to do it. Nothing like hands on for a person that wants to learn.

I'm taking it easy. Had a docs appointment last Friday. He said he didn't cut through my ab muscle, but he separated it to aid in a faster recovery. I've been off the pain meds since last Wednesday. No soreness or pain now at all. Just glad it is pretty much over with. Now to get those other tests done that is recommended for us male folk. Better safe than being laid up wishing I was on the boat :D
Get yourself fully healed and enjoy the boating season. Take no chances.

High rock is always muddy this time of year.Stumps and floating trees too..

I'll hook up with ya in the next couple weeks and we will ride over to Tillery,
Much cleaner water this time of year.
This weekend i'll get it uncovered and fired up.I hope we get some good weather soon...sick of this rain every dang weekend!

Tell me about this darn rain.. We need it, I understand, but not in the weekends!!! LOL!!!!

Im going to obx the third weekend of April but I think I can squeeze some time before or after that. Just let me know as ahead as possible and I will try to clear the weekend.... Maybe even make it a camping weekend and I could just meet you there at the lake.

Mine is still sitting in the machine shed at the in-laws farm a few miles away.I thought I might pick it up this weekend but we are forecast for 4 to 8 inches of snow tomorrow and high temps in the low to mid 30s for the next week.

I am TRYING to be patient!!!!!!!!!:)

I'm pulling mine out of storage and bringing it home on Saturday morning. Weekend weather forecast looks decent at this point so hopefully I get to take a ride. I needed to get the boat home anyway to take some measurements for setting up the new trailer I've been working on.

Mark, about all they would see is one of us getting out of the shower. The head is only about 28"x26" to use the sink, potty, and shower. Not much elbow room to dry off, so we open the door and stand by the galley area where there is more room. From outside the boat, one can only see from the waist up. If I like seeing my wife, then I know others do too :D In the front berth, it is impossible to see in from outside with the door shut. The berth has one window on each side about 16"x4" and they are taped over. Plus being married for over 10 years, does whoopee actually happen? :D
