Gator boat trailer serial number

Hi;

I recently purchased a Duo boat with a 1974 Gator Trailer. I cannot find the serial number on the trailer. Does anyone know where it was located?

Ayuh,...

The Odds are that whatever # that might have been there 35 year ago,...
Is Long Gone....

Do you have the registration,..?? What's the serial # listed on It,..??
Stamp it into the neape somewhere if you're worried about it...

My older EZ Loader had the serial number on a plastic plate, and it has long faded away. I don't know where you live, but here the DOT told me to list it as HOMEMADE. That is what I did and that is how it is registered.

I don't know what a neape is! but mine is on a sticker on the driver's side (port)of the frame.
but like was mentioned just call it home built

i have a 1955-56 gator boat trailer and the serial number was on the right side all the way up on the outer rail before it turned in to go towards the middle of the trailer... not formila with the older gators but it might be around there and if its been repainted it might have been filled in with paint like mine was.
