I have recently had problems with my Johnny. The motor cranks and idles perfectly. When you put it in gear and go it takes a few seconds and then it dies down. When I pump the bulb as I am riding I can get it to WOT.Once at WOT it runs good for about 30 seconds or sometimes a couple of minutes then I have to pump the bulb again. Every time it is at half throttle I have to pump the bulb to keep it from bogging down. If it boggs down and stays that way for a minute or so without pumping the bulb the "NO OIL" light comes on and the alarm sounds. Shut it off and crank it right back up and the light goes off and the cycle starts again. I have changed the bulb, water seperator, cleaned engine filter (although it looked new) drained gas tank, and took the antisiphon off(the valve had aparently allready been disassembled as there was no guts in it). Also sometimes when I squeeze the bulb it acts like it doesnt want to reflate. The new bulb is not as stiff as the old one. Thanks in advance for any responses

fuel tank vent is clogged, pump cannot suck out of a vacuum. or if you have a fuel/water separator or other inline filter, could be clogged.

Thanks for the reply... So I checked the vent it is not obstructed. I then bypassed the separating filter and removed the gas line to the tank. Made sure nothing was restricting the flow up to the motor. Is it possible the pump is going bad and if so what is the average price of the job?
