1989 capri 1700 floor rebuild

Here is another Capri rebuild it took me about 2weeks to get it done i used 1in ply board and sealed both sides.I also did some of the seats with water proof material next will be new paint on the out side and little stuff here and there.
this is my first boat i will keep everyone up dated as i go along happy boating everyone

Go bayliner.I hope you checked your transom.I sound tested mine but I had a leak.Turned out to be from the pipes but I was already there pulled the drive and rot.6 to 7 inch wide but its rotted.Post some pics we love em.And welcome to Iboats.

Thats it I love these boats.Mines a cuddy but hull shapes about the same.

i sec that motion i really like these boats i think my next one that im going to start to look for is the 1990 2050 so far that is my favorite hull style

You will always hear people putting down Bayliners for whatever reason, but you never hear anyone complain about how they ride and handle.

Man I hope so I haven't rode or drove mine yet.I do remember my old wider and how get it was to lay it up in a turn but dont expect it to handle like a jet
