This ain't a instant messaging chat group. Somebody will help you. People are less likely to help you if you're impatient and post 4 times in an hour and make sarcastic remarks.
Ezeke gave a good link; there is also info at http://maxrules.com/cdi/TroubleshootingGuide.pdf

Sorry, thanks for the link. Ok I looked on page 27 of what you just showed me and it says disconnect the black/yellow kill wire if you're not getting any spark, could someone tell me where this is located on the engine?

patience is a virtue, we are here to help you, not take your impatient rath. being impatient, working on an outboard only makes for mistakes. you can either trouble shoot your problem and find out whats wrong, of be impatient, and start throwing expensive parts at it, and still not fix the problem

i strongly suggest you visit a Johnson/Evinrude dealer and buy a OEM service manual for your praticular motor. the best service money you will ever spend.

ditto tashasdaddy--maybe he's a little tooooooo spooled up--i have found nothing but help from great people in these forums- if you have a good manual and the ability to diagnose slowly and properly you will fix it--i have a good manual on waterskiing but not the ability--yet--i'm not going to blame the driver good luck spooler

Many helpers will not even open a thread that doesn't give a clue what the question is.
