ford to chevy

hi hope i am doing this rite
wondering if any one has done this .i have a 19 ft starcraft with 2.3 ford omc just rebuilt the whole motor now exhaust manifold is cracked .i want to change from ford to chevy motor. any input would be great to see if i could do it ?

The transom shield itself is the same, everything else is different, different exhaust, different front mounts on the engine, different outdrive gear ratio, different accessories on the engine, etc. YOu would need a COMPLETE engine package,

but i found 1989 OMC 2.3 manifold so as of now i wont be even thinking of the swap thank god ! that is why i was asking the question about ford to chevy .you can sure tell 2.3 omc manifolds are hard to come by they put it rite to me and i dident even get a kiss
