Hello I am new to this forum. My question is: Where can I find the bracket/lever etc. to lock the motor in an upright position when trailering? I have a tilt pin in it and it will lock on it, but it is not high enough for these alabama roads and boat ramps.

There is a friction adjustment I believe, but no lock for the "up" position. I use a transom saver, and it works well. Rick

i used a piece of 2 inch pvc cut a half moon in mone end to fit the foot of the motor and put a bolt under the boat on the trailer for it to sit in.. strap it to the foot and it rides perfect... takes all the weight off your transom also doesnt bounce around so much.... i had the same problem my truck was to tall so my motor would drag the ground.. did this 2 years ago and no more problem

ps .. i used Black vet wrap around the pvc pipe so it wouldnt looke so country fied lol... or i guess you could just paint it... or go spend 40 bucks and buy one... which ever GOOD LUCK
