I've got a Bayliner 2006 185 br 3.0l, and I can't find one spot to mount a water/fuel separator. Anybody have any ideas?

Where are you trying to mount it? I'm sure with the 3.0 there is room in the engine bay...

Any where you have access to remove the filter will work. With a 3.0 you should have plenty off room in the bilge to work.

Better get used to the idea that you have to believe your hands and fingers are smaller than they actually are to work around the bilge sometimes :)

You will probalby be putting a couple screws into the wall of the engine bay to mount the holder for the fuel filter. Any flat verticle spot should work.

You should try and double clamp those lines Rocky Road

Agreed!

There isn't enough nipple length to get a second clamp on. I have been looking for some decent clamps that were narrower...but still looking.

I might have to locate some new (and improved) barbs!

What might work just as well, are fuel injection clamps - they are solid clamps instead of worm gear. Any auto parts has them - try to find stainless or just coat the standard ones if running in saltwater.

I'll have to get to Pep Boys, and see what those clamps look like!
