Looking for complete MEFI-5 system. Any pointers?

Howdy folks, new guy here.

Anyway, a friend of mine runs a local dyno tuning shop and lately he has been doing quite a bit of marine stuff and he asked me to find him a complete MEFI-5 system for purchase. Are there any reputable vendors to deal with, and what else can you tell me? I know nothing about the marine stuff so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help-Dan

Ayuh,... If you wanta spend several Grand,... Call a Merc. Dealer....
Otherwise,...
It's ebay or craigslist....

Why 5...MEFI-4b is very easy to tune..anywho good luck i hope that helps

I'm not sure why he wants that specific version. Where can I find the Pros and Cons of the different versions? I'm not having much luck with the search feature. Thanks-Dan

He needs variable cam timing, I guess thats why he wants MEFI 5.
