Can someone please tell me how to remove sleeve mercury 1996 (see picture)

Hi,
I need to remove the sleeve see picture. It's realy dameged so i want to replace it but the is no movement at all. Can some one please get me goining im busy with it for days now.

You will need to take the Prop shaft carrier bearing out (It's the big aluminum part behind the prop). Once that's out, you need a tool to take the nut off the drive shaft. It looks like the housing under the WP is damaged too. If so your unit will leak where that Oring seals against the surface damaged. Probably more of a job than you have special tools for. Know any good shops around or possibly some place with an outboard "junk" yard?

Hi G,
Thanks for your anwser. It is the golden housing i mentioned. The drawing told me it is the sleeve and I already ordered that part and the 2 seal parts that go in there. It's damaged and i see nothing were (like small holes or gaps) tool can get a grip.
It's a seapro 25 hp.
