98 Fitch has spark and fuel, I can get it to fire by moving the throttle a little.
As soon as it starts it dies. I checked the fuel pressure and it had 23-25 psi.
Any help would be appreciated
Fuel pressure is good .When was the last time you started the engine?Could be bad fuel,water in fuel check water seperators.Could be that it needs to be de carbed.They have de carb spray at any boat center.
I cleaned the plugs and we have used the boat 3-4 times this year with no problems. WE went to an all idle lake and I was going across the lake and it was just like it ran out of gas. Started but wouldnt run more than 5 sec. Removed plugs and replaced with new ones hits but wont start

Sounds exactly like my 98 115 Johnny. It sat up all winter, but ran good the first three times out. Died and now it only runs 3-5 seconds and it seems to be getting fuel to me. Taking it in to the mechanic tomorrow. I'll update with what he says.
