LOL!

I'm highly motivated on getting ALL of the rooms in my house painted, so started on the master bedroom today.

Emptied everything out, then lined the wall edges with cutup cereal boxes and taped the plastic dropcloths down in place. My new helper made things go much faster. He's a good kid.

We got the room 95% painted, but ran out of daylight and he had to go home. I should be able to get the rest of the painting and maybe the trimwork done tomorrow.

Meanwhile, I'll be sleeping in the guest room that I finished last month. Nice in here now! Heh heh.

Yahh... you can use her. She needs the work. Cheap too! :D

Got 95% of the painting done yesterday afternoon, then finished up the remainder this morning. Got the touchups done this afternoon. Still have to do the trimwork around the doors. Am thinking of moving the bed and other stuff back in there tonight... then again, it would be a lot easier doing the trimwork without having to move things around.

Hmmm... decisions, decisions! Guess I'll have some dinner and think about it some more. LOL

Hey! I'm a BACHELOR, remember? LMAO! :D

Anyway, I finally got the trimwork all done today, then moved the furniture back into the room. Still need to install the ceiling fan that I bought for that room yesterday.

Tomorrow I hope to get the fan up and then get the office refilled with the stuff that I took out of there. Other stuff on my plate, but will cram a little.

Here we go... the FINISHED master bedroom! Yayyy!!

Re: Ach! Doing it in the master bedroom now!

Finally got the cheapo ceiling fan installed today. And it even works and everything! :D

I decided not to install the light kit. Don't really need it in there.

Speaking of ceiling fans... on Monday I was talking with a neighbor about my endeavors and he ended up giving me an extra fan that he had! However, it's a flush mounted type, so I went over to the fan shop where I'd inquired on Saturday about a purchase. Was hoping the proprietor might have an adapter kit to allow me to use the flush mount on my cathedral ceilings.

Instead... the nice lady GAVE me a $300 cathedral fan that had been returned after the prior owner zapped it somehow! After a quick inspection, it turned out to just be a chafed wire, which I can correct easily. Score!

Soooo... I now have THREE fans! Got Steven, the neighbor kid, over here yesterday afternoon and he took the flush mount unit home with him. We had a good discussion and did some drawings. He'll fabricate an adapter that will allow me to use that unit on my ceilings.

Gettin' BREEZY around here! :D
