i just got a bf 60 and was thninking about putting on my 15 foot tri hull but was wondering if the shaft length was longer then a 60 hp motor if so will a jack plate work or try a trade the motor
measure it - from where it sits on the transom to the cavitation plate and compare to other motor. You could also measure the transom and compare. Usually, you want the cavitation plate about equal to the bottom of the transom, but in some applications a little higher or lower is OK.
