What would be my best way to wake up this engine. I have not started it in 9 years. I did put the engine up with sta-bil fuel stabilizer. The oil pump has been disabled and I am running mixed oil and gas mixture.

I imagine you would need to squirt a liberal dose of oil thru the plug holes into the cylinders to pre-lube the pistons and prevent a ring from breaking. Other than that, just running it would be good for the engine. By the way, how did you disable the oil injection? I would like to do that on my GT150.

if theres dried fuel in the carb jets and you "just run it" you melt a piston, they're finicky like that.
At the very least I'd get 6 carb kits and rebuild the lot, takes all of 90 minutes and $130.
