so i start my boat and take off. it goes fine for about 15 seconds then it boggs down. i put it in nutreul and rev it, then it does the same. i think it is starving for fuel. i have changed the fuel pump and rebuilt the carbs and checked the float levels at least 3 times. any sugestions would help

Sounds like you've taken some good steps so far. Have you ruled out fuel delivery problem from tank to motor? Try a different tank and hose if you can. If not check your pickup in the tank, primer bulb check valve and tank vent. You may want to try pumping primer bulb when it acts up to see if that helps, thus confirming fuel problem.

Good Luck!

when i pump the primer bulb the motor picks up and runs faster which tell me it starving??? i'm lost here. a friend tells me that it could be the quick disconnects on the fuel line???

Is the bulb soft while the engine is running?

you can run a fuel line directly to the fuel pump to eliminate that problem..to test it.may be the labaryth seals on the cc...if you bump the choke and it doesent pick up but does when you squeeze the bulb it may be the problem..

it was the quick disconnects on the fuel line it was restricting the fuel flow
