I inherited a 6 hp Johnson Seahorse when my Grandpa died and it has been unused for several years. The model number is CD-23E, and the serial number is J2667366. How do I -

Find out what year it is?
Get an owners or operators manual?
Verify the fuel/oil mix? I assume it is 50:1 but I am not sure.

Thanks

1966 model

50:1 TCW-3 is recommended by OMC ... some err on the side of caution in the smaller horsepower motors and run at 40:1

Others may comment of sources for manual ...

do not buy a Seloc or CLymer manual, most who buy them usually end up buying the OEM manual. outboardbooks.com
