Pressure Fuel Tank

Hello All,

I have been looking on Ebay for a pressure fule tank for my 57 Evinrude 7.5

Is there a certsin one I need for this motor, i have notice some are 3 gallon some are 6, it said in the manuel something about a 5 gallon tank, in addition some say 2 lines and other have a single line.

what do I need for my motor?

You need the two-line tank. Either size is fine. They can be expensive, though...especially on ebay. Keep an eye on your local Craig's List. I've seen some good bargains there. In fact, if you're lucky, you might find a parts engine for yours, with a tank, for a real bargain price if it's not running. I almost bought a non-running 7.5 the other day for $75. It had a tank, including the hose and connector. I just don't have time to deal with one right now.

Also, the connector on the hose from the tank is very, very expensive to buy, so buy one with the connector. You can repair it if necessary, with a couple of O-rings. The tanks, themselves can also be repaired.
