I have a pair of 2003 merc 250's efi and i usally run the quicksilver premimium plus 2 stroke oil in them. At a local marine supply store by my house their selling the penzoil premium plus synthetic blend for $10.99gal vs. the quicksilver stuff for $29.99gal, is it ok to mix the oils? & wouldnt the synthetic be a better choice of oil? Just thought id get some opinions.

Mixing the oils is not a problem. Pennzoil blend is a good oil. Isn't the Merc oil synthetic blend also?

The quicksilver premium plus doesnt say on the bottle it's synthetic, but not sure, mabye it is. The penzoil says synthetic, just thought id ask since i really didnt know if it was safe to mix the 2 oils.
