I got sick of the 80's green and blue on the seats so I up-dated it using some leather and fabric paint. What do you think?

Those look great. Amazing that you did them yourself. I too was thinking to upgrading my seats. Maybe something with arms, but I'll need to buy them. I'm not as talented as it seems you are with material :)

Ok you guys are not following the bouncing ball Solar did nt recover the seats he ( recolored the seats :D. He used spray cans that are made for painting upholstery they are usd all the time to spiff up a car interior . Solar they look great much cleaner looking . I am considering the same thing for my 74 Larson as I dont want to sink alot of money into this one as its not my last boat its my current one :D.

Ooops, I guess that was my mis-understanding and led everyone astray.

My guess is they look great until they get all scratched up.

Maybe you should now drape clear vinyl over them. My Grandmother used to do that to all her furniture and lamps . . . :D :) :D

Just kidding, I use this guy that airbrushes scratches out of my leather seats by painting them. That's his only business. He goes around to used car dealerships and re-touches their seats.

Keep a close eye on the rears of any bioches that get on your boat who have those metal studs decorating their jeans.

Hey, even if they don't have "any" decoration on their jeans . . . keep a close eye on those rears anyaway :D

Solar, whay product did you use? A quick Google shows a product called Varikote, made by Parasol inc. They claim it will not flake, peel, crack or chip because it dyes the vinyl.

Your results look fantastic, though the pics are kinda small. :)

Is this a fact?:D

I'm also curious as to what product you used. My old crusty seats might be able to use some of that stuff.

Re: Re-did the seats in the boat. what do you think?

I just went to Autozone and other auto parts stores and got it right off the shelf, i had to use a few differant brands since no one seemed to have more then 2 or 3 can on the shelf. They keep it with the spray paint, Miejer stores have it too. I didnt have any luck finding it at Wal Mart though. Thanks for all the kind words!!
