which carb kits?

I have a 1970 60 hp Evinrude and need to know which carb kit(s) to order. I believe there are three carbs so i think i need three kits but how to tell if I need one with floats and such. I have a manual on the way but would like to have the parts ready to go. model 60073-d. thanks

Yes, you need three kits. If you're doing the carbs for the first time, might as well get the ones with the floats and all. Do it right the first time.

ok thank you. Does it matter if its the sierra or mallory ones? or is that just preference of brands?

be sure to mark you carb top, middle and bottom. before removing, cuts down on confusion. sharpie works well.

Just pick the cheapest brand, its basically the same stuff.

Your motor sounds real similar to my 1973 65 hp. Just keep everything organized, and be real careful with all of those small carbuerator parts. If you have a manual, you'll be fine. Good luck!
