Need Help With Boat Year And Model (larson)

Hi EVERYONE! My name is Brandon ran across this site and i think i will be here more often beacuse im new to this boating thing. Im 19 from MN and have just purchased my first boat. I'm Trying to figure out the model and year so i can get some replacement parts. ESP. a new windshield. Hoping someone on here si familiar with Larsons. I Did some dead end reasearch and have figured out it is a Larson Shark. But not what year.

The Model # is 41895, can anyone get the year out of that?
AND IT IS AN OUTBOURD WITH A EVENRUDE STARLITE 100-s

Look for the HID (Hull Identification Number) on the rear of the boat, ususally on the right side just below the rubrail. All boats manufactured after 1972 were required to have them.
The last 2 numbers will give you the boats model year.

1st 3 letters of the hull id # on outside upper starboard of transom enter them here.

Thanks guys, had a little more dead ends. But i then went on the larson website and emailed them my serial number. They were very helpfull and quick to reply. The only problem is they only carry parts for 5 years after manufacter. So i gotta get a little creative on my windshield assembly. Heres a link to the website to email for information on your (larson) boat, in case anyone else runs into this problem because they were very helpfull.

And i found out it is a 18' 1969 Larson Shark thats a classic in my book since its 20 years older then me haha

Alerov welcome to I boats . I have a 1974 Larson 1700 Shark myself however I am 7 years older than my boat . and 2 years older than yours . mine has a 120 Mrecruiser I/O getting it reaady for some paint and interior and a new engine coupler now so hopefully I can enjoy it some before summer is over LOL.

Thanks Rick for the welcome. Its good to know there are other people out there with sharks as well haha! I've seen some preeeettty nice boats on here, and felt kinda out of place! Do u have any pictures of ur boat?

Alerov I have a few pics from before I picked it up I will post for you . I need to get busy on it and take some more pics as I progress but I own an HVAC company and it is the beginning of AC season so things are pretty hectic around here right now .

thank you very much for that link and post! I have been trying to figure out the year of my Larson/Crestliner Voyager. I think it is a 1957 but it would be nice to know for sure! now i am just waiting for a reply!
