Are those two identical? Any of the parts exchangeable?

About the only thing they have in common is they are both V-4"s

I don't know about that difference but between the 60sportfour and the 80 speedifour the high speed jets are different sizes and the high speed tubes are slightly different too, that was the only noticable differance in a side by side comparison through my eyes, there may have been other differences that I couldn't see but the main body and carb top were the same from what I could see, the throttle bores measured the same too, between the 67' 60 and the 67' 80 hp's
These two engines sitting side bt side are not distinquishable which is the 80 or the 60 and most of the parts interchange. Same year though, but with 10yrs between probably nothing is interchangable.
I read your post wrong at first and thought you were talking carbs, you can see where my mind is.

The similarites between engines began in the 1969 model year.
