Guess that boat!?

So I got this free boat. She is pretty rad but I dont know who made her? I think it's homemade but i'm not sure. Anyway I need to mount an outboard to it and I'm not sure what she should be rated for? The previous owner says 25/100hp thats a pretty big range? Thanks.

It looks homemade to me. Interesting that it has a new registration number (begins with "BC" instead of older "K" number) Did you register it? What size outboard is that on in the photo?

sorry man. In my attempt to be humorous I believe I oversteped that point!
Is there any any markings or stamps on the hull in the way of a metal tag or a reconizable VIN in the fiberglass that could be looked up?

Well looks like im the winner? And everyone on here knows so much? Well pat on my back lol. So shes a plan from a 1958 Popular Mecanics magazine. Got her home las weekend and she looks beautifull no rot and only a couple small fixes. Should I glass the whole bottom or just the water line? also how much glass should I use? three layers of 2oz glass and a layer of cloth should be good or overkill? Any help would be appretiated here guys!? Thanks!

it is is not glassed, do not glass it. you will ruin the value of a wooden boat. glass also hold moist in the boat as well as keeping it out. you could just be creating problems.

Any help on paint? can I use a good acrilic (I cant spell) or do I need a Marine paint? The diffrence in $ is huge does it matter? She wont be in the ocean so im pretty sure I can use waterresistant paint from home depot or something? any help would be appretieated. cheers
