Hallo,
We have a Bayliner 285 with a Merc 350 MAG. At the end of seison 2008 it did not run over 4200rpm. Normally it can make 4800/5000. Beginning 2009 it was launched again and it run fine. 2 months later we tried again to do wide open throttle but it does not make more then 4200rpm. It seems that from a certain point the throttle can be pushed more forward, but rpm stays put.
Can this be lack of fuel due clodged lines/filter/fuelpickup?
Further it runs fine.
Looking forward to opinions,
Olaf
