Hi
Any / all help appriciated. took boat out for my first time, went for 4 -5 runs flat out then out at sea it died, managed to start again but would only run on tickover, if i throttled up it died, i check fuel tank and it was sucked in so realsed filler cap and it then sucked in air, ran then at fast tickover but wouldnt throttle up at all, took out of water and found fual leaking from appears under carb, any help greatly appriciated

Welcome to iboats... The first thing I would consider would be a dirty and clogged carb. A stuck needle or float due to dirt in the carb will cause gas to leak from the carb.. good luck

Hey Terry

That sounds very similar to the failure I had. http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=318024

Go for the carbs. They have a fuel pump in each side of the carb. Watch for how much fuel is in the bowl at disassembly and you should be all good. The kits are like $6.00 each.

BTW, first check compression, while you are at it check spark on all 4. Then order the kits. Just my opinion...
