Etec leaking oil

I have twin 200 Etec's 2007 on my boat, At the end of last year I ran on a sand bar and had to have the lower unit dropped and new impellers, and everything flushed. Put boat back in the water ran to dock (100 yards) put motor up noticed green lube dripping out of the high speed water intake holes on front of the lower unit on the starb. motor. Bringing back to marina that did the work hoping it's just a gasket that didn't seat, but anyone out there have an idea or sim. problem?

need more info here. What high speed holes are you talking about?

The small holes on the very front of the pulpit ball. When the motor is in the up position the ball (I call it) is the last part of the motor out of the water.

I think you are talking about the water pick up on the gearcase. If oil is comming out of there, I think you have big powerhead problem. Should still be under warranty. I am not a big fan of DI 2-stroke, or the e-tec for that matter. Some folks swear by them, though. Enough about my opinions, how much oil are we talking about here? Did you pull the cowl to see if there are any oil lines ruptured, or oil in any other part of the engine? Does the engine sound funny? Are you sure this isn't gearcase oil? I suppose if they really screwed up the water pump job, gearcase oil could be forced up past the water pump base and it's gaskets and o-rings. Let me know what you find, I am curious.

it is gearcase oil and it drips out slowly,motor sounds normal, water press. normal, just the slow drips. Boat is now at the marina I will let you know.

It's most likely the upper seal on the gearcase. I have a etec 225 doing the same thing. I had it looked at, they reported the upper seal is leaking.
