17 or 18 4-blade SS?

19P Laser II SS
smart tabs
WOT MFG: 4400-4800 & 43mph
Lightly loaded(~600lbs people) @ half tank I get these stats:

40mph (GPS) @ 4400rpms

I use the boat mainly for bay cruising/island hopping with the ocassional tuber/skier so top speed isn't that big of a concern. Currently its a little sluggish out of the hole and with 4+ people it takes a decade to get on plane. Soooo I was thinking of stepping up to a 4-blade to help out on low end. I'm on the bottom of my rpm range so I have some room to drop down a pitch. My question is should I go with a 17 or an 18 Revolution 4?

A word of caution here...A laser 11 prop is made for lightweight bass...high performance boat's. If you can find a similar prop it might be a better base to use other than the laser..

If you can use it I have a Stiletto #21417 17P 4 blade with a 13spline hub I need to sell because I need a 15 spline hub for my "new to me" Merc
